Prof tax deduction

Dear Friends

The prof. tax for Nov’06 to Mar’07 is already recovered in respective months and again system is recovering it from the salary for the month of Oct 07 when there were no definite changes made in the system.Can you pls suggest options for resolving this.

In which state is the person located? What is the frequency of deduction - monthly or half-yearly? Can you give details of your problem?
