Hi all,
if I am indexing link-documents and I am activated the index property (indexContentOfExternalLink=true) so that content of the link is indexed, I get the following two errors:
2007-11-26 13:40:16.438 e preprocessor Preprocessor.cpp(00891) : HTTPHEAD failed for URL http://devportal:50000/irj/go/km/docs/documents/FIRSTspirit/225076/es/255992/255993_24223 : Errorcode -8001 , Message Reader::connect failed, url=https://devportal/FIRSTspiritWeb/es/24223.jsp?themeName=sap_tradeshow&themePath=/irj/portalapps/com.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata/themes/portal&browserMapping=ie6&cmcall=true&
2007-11-26 13:40:16.438 e preprocessor Preprocessor.cpp(03553) : HANDLE: DISPATCH - Processing Document with key '/documents/FIRSTspirit/225076/es/255992/255993_24223' failed, returning PREPROCESSOR_ACTIVITY_ERROR (Code 16001)
If I set the property to value "false", the index does work without errors. Of course, there is no external content indexed.
I have set the URL Generator service to the correct url.
Thanks for any hints.
Best Regards
Philipp Kölsch

This is because of incorrect SSL configuration between Trex and Portal

Hi,
I am facing a similar problem
(Error during search occurred - com.sapportals.wcm.WcmException: multi-server search failed on some of the servers;error=42,index=fileserver,location=<PORTALSERVER>:30203;
error=42,index=fileserver,location=<PORTALSERVER>:30203;error=42,index=sap_dms,location=<PORTALSERVER>:30203;
error=42,index=sap_dms,location=<PORTALSERVER>:30203;error=42,index=sap_dms,location=<PORTALSERVER>:30203;
error=42,index=fileserver,location=<PORTALSERVER>:30203;error=42,index=fileserver,location=<PORTALSERVER>:30203 (Errorcode 2975))
- we configured the TREX/Portal connection as described in SAP Help. But unfortunately the Portal and the TREX are installed on the same host.

Does anybody knows a workaround for this configuration?
(I know it is not supported by SAP:-))
kind regards
Tom
