SRM-MDM u0096 Login Failed with User1

We recently just applied patch 5 to SRM-MDM 2.0 The update has been applied but I now have the following problem.

I cannot log onto the Catalogue with the SRM-MDM user, “User1” which I previously used to access the catalogue while shopping. I’ve checked all the config in the IMG and the User name and password is correct (case sensitive also checked). I’ve made sure that User name and password for “User1” is correct in the Console for the relevant Repository. Yet I cannot logon with this user?? However, if I change the User in the IMG to the “Master”, then it works??

Any help is appreciated.

I m working on SRM MDM catalog 1.0 with MDM version 5.5SP04 patch 2.

I m facing same problem as yours

Hello Shayne,

please try to log on with User1 without password.

We applied patch 5, too, and afterwards all password settings of the default users were gone.

I logged on with User1 without any password and it works fine. It only seems to have a problem with User1 when I try to connect to the UI? Thus it won't launch the catalog when you're shopping?

Please check your OCI setting. Value is case sensitive. Check your repository name.

Hi,

The repository name hasn't changed. It is exactly the same as it was before Patch 5 was loaded. The SRM settings for the Integrated call structure (ICS) is the same (i.e repository name and the user name and password). The repository was archived and un-archived. So the name in the ICS is the same as in the MDM Console.

Which OCI setting are you referring too? there are many?

If you define the port parameter in your OCI definition, please check the port number or delete the port parameter from OCI definition.

Please test calling URL directly.

http://<J2EEServer>:<httpPort>/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM?username=User1&password=<password>&server=<MDMServer>...;

Replace the < > value.

Hi Masa,

The ports are the same as what is defined in the Console.

If I I try testing the URL Directly as you mention, it just redirects to the UI logon page??

I've logged an OSS, so will see what SAP AG say.

Please logon to the Data Manager with User1? If you can not logon password should be wrong. Or the repository is not loaded.
