sir,

while raising va01 iam receiving a message that ship to party 28 is not defined for the sales area 5555 11 21

28 customer number

5555 sales org

11 distribution channel

11division

but its taking 21 of other company codes division 21

tried ,

give me the suggestin

Hi Supriya,

Ple find out first whether you created customer in given area using XD02. Then check whether you assigned sales document type which you would like to use for same sales area using Tcode OVAZ.

check first in which sales area u have created the customer

cuastomer should be existed or created in u r sales area 5555/11/11

goto XD02 and enter u r customer number 28 and check ths sales area

Hi,

Check whether you have assigned sales order types to permitted sales area.

The path is Sales and Distribution-->Sales >Sales Doc Header>Assign sales arae to sales documrnt type.

if u hav created the sold to party master and the ship to party is from other sales area than the sold to party, then it will giv this error.

or

the customer and the sales document should always belong to the same sales area.

so in customizing pls check whether u hav assigned correct sales area to the document type u r using.

SPRO - SD - SALES - SALES DOCUMENTS - ASSIGN SALES AREA TO SD TYPES.
