Capasity admission

I have a question. In our system we have "capasity admission". Is there a way to hide or block this option? (our users use TimeSlot but they hit by mistake the capasity option). Rooms are not used, but our single doctors have surbooking systematically active. Do we need to implement an specific?.

Katharina;

Yes of course. Transaction is NR25. The goal on our system is mainly appointment scheduling. We are currently using a single doctor planning on our O.U. Each O.U. is in dependant from the other but doctors might have operations in several O.U.. We are currently creating plannings using the "time slot" option. But we have noticed that "capacity admission" is also visible in our NR25 (and we don't need it, actually we wish to hide it as users are mistaken by it). Any help appreciated. I am guessing it might be a customizing point we are missing, but need to be sure. Thank you.

Hello Daniel,

can you provide more detailed information regarding the business process and goals you want to support and the transactions you are using in the system to achieve this.

With the provided information, it is a little difficult to respond.

Thanks, Katharina Drouin

Hello Daniel,

the "Admission capacity" funtion is only displayed in NR25 for organizational units that are classified as care units. This classification is set in the master data of the organizational unit (transaction NB21) on the "Specialty/indicator" tab page.

If the indicator "Nursing assignment" is set, the Admission capacity planning is active allowing you to schedule admission appointsments (for inpatients) based on predefined admission capacity.

Outpatient org. units typically do not need to be classified as "care units".
