Should I use the XI JDBC Adapter to load data into the interface tables in Oracle Financials? Is there a better way? Are there any case studies or examples I can follow?
thanks!
Hi
Data can be extracted from SAP using IDoc, RFC, Proxies
Which is best

Hi Bill,
yes u r right..to connect SAP with Oracle Database u have to use JDBC adapter .
Now u can go for
1)IDoc-XI-JDBC
2)RFC-XI-JDBC

Biplab, thanks for your response - but again to clarify, I am feeding information into Oracle Financials, which is of course, the Financials component of the Oracle E-Business Suite.
Is it a bit "crude" and "low tech" to load the data directly into the Oracle Database tables rather than through the application itself, or is this still the recommended way to do it?
Thanks!
Hi Bill,
Looks it is bit crude way of accessing database directly .
Hope the iway provides adapters for the same but you need to explore how it can be done -
Please check this link & let me know if you need any further reference.
