CIN - EXCISE EDU.CESS OPENING BALANCE UPLOAD

Hi Gurus,

I am new to CIN . I want to make table entries for Excise Duty Balance upload before Go-Live, in table J_2IACCBAL thru SE11,

Can anybody give me details of Data elements for Registers for Edu. Cess (2%) ?

There are following data element like RG23ABED, RG23ASED, RG23AAED, RG23CBED, RG23CSED, RG23CAED, PLABED, PLASED, PLAAED, PLACESS.

In which data element I have to maintain Edu. Cess amount , I could upload basic & Higher Edu. Cess(1%) , but confused regarding Edu. Cess (2%) ?

Here are the STEP BY STEP instructions...

Go to se11

Put the table in database table J_2IACCBAL

Change

select the field REGISTER/J_2IREGELE double click on J_2IREGELE.

You will then be able to see the Domain J_2IREGDOM

Double click on this J_2IREGDOM

You will then be able to see a tab called "Value range"

Here there is a column called "Fixed values", here you enter the following

"RG23AECS

RG23CECS

PLAECS "

Then you will be able to see the ECS elements als in the F4 function of

register field in J_2iaccbal table.

HI Vikas

I updated excise entries in my last implementation like this

Execute T code SE16

Enter table name J_2IACCBAL

After putting table name J_2IACCBAL dont press enter

in above menu press Table --> Create Entry

A new screen will pop up here you can enter your Regesiter name Excise Group Plant Openining balance then save it

With this method we directly insert the value in the respective tables.

One important thing is once these enteries get saved you can not save it second time.

Another thing you keep in mind after uploading you balances you execue it in T code J2i5.
