STOCK AVAILABILITY

Dear Mates,

I have an issue like this

For one FG material,741 cartons are available under "UNRESTRICTED USE STOCK " as per MMBE and as well as per MM03 also.

But when we try to make a outbound delivery (VL01N) for this FG ,the system is throwing an error message as "only 680 cartons are available for this material".

Can anybody help as how to find a solution for this issue.

HI SUBRAMANYAM,

Above mentioned all area"s consern are valid in your case. so refer all above .

and in addition you can go to MB5B just to have a flow of transaction done with respective material since you received it. that will give you the clearcut idea where the material is lying.

better to check any stock lie down under "safety stock field" in MRP2 view in Material master record as well as chk details fo the stock in MMBE

Can you check MD04 transaction and also check open orders and open deliveries list.

Dear Subramanyam

This could be due to the reason that a delivery is created and saved without doing PGI.

To check this, in MMBE itself, you can see by pressing "F8" where one tab "<b>Sched.for delivery</b>" will be there. For information, the quantity what you saw in "Unrestricted" is <b>INCLUSIVE</b> of this sched. for delivery.

Hi Subu,

This is because the storage location which you are taking in delivery may not be having the sufficient stock but your plant has.

That may be the reason you are not able to proceed.

Check if any reservation is there for this .

For check if there is any open sales order .
