Data Type to use for Fiscal Year Period selection screen parameter

I need to accept user input in the format

YYYY.PP

where YYYY is the Fiscal year and PP is the Period.

Is there a data type ( element / domain ) for such a field ?

date element you can use SPMON

or

parameter : p_spmon like MCS0-SPMON.

You can use LFGJA and LFMON(These two are data elements with NUMC length 04 and 02 resp.,)

F4 help is not there for MCS0-SPMON.

I need to have a parameter which will accept Fiscal year & month as input. It should show F4 help as well.

For eg: 10/2015

Any idea ?
