Return Delivery - reversal

Hello Gurus,

I have created a return order , I created a return delivery and did PGR. Delivery document and material document is created. Now when i am going to to do reversal of this return delivery through transaction VL09 . The system is throwing a error message that "No material document could be found for cancellation" and i cannot process the reversal of the PGR

hi to cancel material doc use tcode MBST .

And then cancle the delivery thru VL02N and Return order thru VA02 .

You cannot use VL09 for the return material document.

Hi

This MBST is for reverse or cancel of material doc and not for delivery .

I told u to cancel or reverse return delivery either use VL02N or go for VL09.

This material document was generated through the posting of a physical inventory document, a delivery via Shipping, or some other automatic movement (such as an order confirmation in PP or a usage decision in QM) and cannot be processed with this function.

I tried VL09, where its throwing a message " material document could be found for cancellation " .

Hi,

Have u checked the radio button saying Inbound delivery in VL09 .

I have run the whole process at my system and it is working fine.

Better check the radio button both inbound and outbound .

Hi Ganesh,

There are 2 cases:

1) Creating a return order,return delivery and PGR(using mvmt type 651).You cannot use VL09 for your return delivery reversal.The return goods will come under your blocked stock.

2) If you want to cancel the PGI then you can use VL09 and your mvmt type will automatically be 602.

1) The return goods has come in return storage location 3000 and in Unrestricted stock.

2) Through VL09 , the system is throwing the message " No material document could be found for cancellation" although material document is created.

just go through the below process.

order-->delivery->PGI--->BILLING after billing document u can create returns order.

returns order----->returns delivery->PGR----->CREDIT FOR RETURNS(BILLING DOC)

BUT YOU ARE DOING CANCELLATION OF PGI NOT RETURNS PROCESS.

VL09 IS TRANSACTION FOR CANCELLATION OF POST GOODS ISSUE

Please check whether the material document has already been created during the PGR process. You can check using the Document Flow.

then you can also check whether it has been billed.

PGR Cancellation is using VL09 is correct.
