hi all,

Question is

INTER STO process.

The suppying plant supply the fert type material using mtype 351 to another plant.The receiving plant receive same fert type material.This is normal procedure in sap -sto

When doing Sto -inter with mtype 351, Client asked me wheather fert type converted to ROH type in Recceivng pla.

I told that is not possible in sap sto-inter(same mt type only exchange goods)

is it possible of conversion? or give me any other solution.

Hai Kavi ,

STO overall 5 - Steps are There.

1. Without any reference document directly send the material From

one Plant to Another Plant. M. Type is -301. This is Called Single

step Posting ( This is MM Route )

2. Without any reference document directly send the material From

one Plant to Another Plant. M. Type is -303 Issuing Plant 305

Receiving Plant. This is Called Double step Posting.

( This is MM Route )

3. Whenever you making STO with Reference of Purchase Order

Issuing Plant Using 351 M.Type and Receving Plant Place in 101

M.Type. ( This is Also MM Route )

Now Answer for your Question.

1. It is Possible what they expect ( Your Client )

2. First you Issuing Plant sent the Fert material Through 351 M.Type.

3. Receiving Plant Get the Material Fert Through 101 M.Type.

4. After Receiving Fert Material you Convert To Roh Material

Through 309 M. Type Material to Material Change.

( In this Material to material convert Unit of mes and currency is

should same for both material )

No its not possible to have diffrent material type for same material

as material type is at client level, so material type will be same for one material no where ever it goes

but u have have diffrent valuation class and price control diffrent in each plant

as in plant valuation class 5001 and price control as S

and in plant 2 valu classe 5002 and price control as V

this can be possible
