connection error..between xi and SAPR3

in my home PC SAPR3 is installed in VMworkstation and netweaver xi(200.200.200.9) is installed in normaaly.if i give ip adress of r3 200.200.200.6 in idoc adapter scenario in IR design phase , i imporeted idoc ad rfc .

Is it enough for connection for R3 and XI. if so, where can i find Ls fo xi .in my xi server SALE tcode is blocked."it shows u r unauthorised to open sale." how do i authorised SALE tcode.

Hai,

To import idocs from R/3 to IR (XI), two things has to be done.

1. Create RFC from XI server to backend system (R/3).

2. Create a Port for the backend system in XI via tcode IDX1. this is enough to import idocs form R/3 to XI.

in XI server, you have the XI Client (by default it is 001). So LS of this client is the LS of your XI server.You have to assign this in SLD.
