Hi Atul,

I have already done the definition of the "text type" as header and connect it to the "schema" of SC and the schema already define in the "transaction type" SHC, but as I said I don’t see the new "header text" in the SC, as I know I have to see it in the same place like the "Approval text" in the SC.

I will be grateful if you can test this in your test system and tell me if you have the same problem.

Hi

Please go through this ->

Please refer to the OSS notes.

Note 1014861 - Approval note is deleted after buyer adds a source of supply

Note 860012 - Click on applet link, approval note disappears.

Note 987686

Note 988490

Note 987640

By using BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI you can update the Header/Item text.

Hi Atul,

First thanks for your quick answer!

As you know in SRM 5.0, you can define as many additional text IDs for documents, at both header and item level.

In the attached Links/Notes I don’t have any answer for the problem I have, as I said I had created new “Header text” for the schema of SC but I don’t see the new “header text” in the SC not in the Web UI or in the GUI UI.

Please advice,

Rami

Hi

Please through this ->

This is standard in SRM 5.0, where you can define custom texts and assign them to doc header/item.

In SRM 5.0 (SRM server 5.5), you can find it in SPRO --> SRM Server --> Cross-Application basic settings --> Text schema:

- define text types

- define text schema

- define fixed values for texts

SRM - SPRO Path

In SPRO --> SRM Server --> Cross-Application basic settings --> Define transaction types, you can now assign a text schema.

Before SRM 5.0, you can define additional text types, but you must modify standard ABAP code to handle it via web transactions.
