Hi Sravya,

Movement type is used in SAP to track the movement of goods..

It will be linked to Value string and intrun it will be linked to transaction key(ex BSX,GBB,WRX,PRD etc..)

IN OBYC we will assing GL accounts based on transaction keys

At the time of goods receipt...

In T-code: MIGO movement type 101 will be defaulted by the transactions

this will be linked to Transaction keys in OMJJ T-code.. it will pick up the Transaction key and go to OBYC and finds the account relevant to it.

To issue the goods the movement type is 311 where account document is not getting created.

To consume the goods, you require to use the movement type 201. The account document gets created with this movement type.
