BDLS did not complete

Hi,

We have done QA refresh from Production database to QA.After that I have done BDLS to change logical client name.This all was happned almost six months.Everything seems to be fine.

Just few days before we found that there are some tablems in QA which still shows production logical system and GUID.

Can we rerun BDLS now, is there any risk for to do redo this, because we have been doing many customization since 6 months after the refresh.Also can we find what tables are not converted and and change specific tables.

Hi Kristene,

You generally run BDLS to perform OLD LSN(Logical System Name) conversion to NEW LSN, there are certain guidelines to this.

Note:

you can always check the 'test' button and ensure that you only run a simulation and not actual BDLS to check which tables are being affected and then arrive at a decision.

If you are still unsure, better raise a OSS message with SAP and ask them!
