SAP XI Installation/FilePOC - HTTP 403 problem.

HI,

We have just installed the SAP XI and have created a simple File to File POC. The file adapter is picking up the file, but it is not able to send the message to Integration server. I am seeing the following error in RWB - Message Monitoring.

Transmitting the message to endpoint http://myserver:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW failed, due to: Received HTTP response code 403..

What could be the reason ? How to resolve this problem.

Hi,

Thanks all for giving the valuable information. The problem is resolved after executing the RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES to activate all the required ICF Services.

Hi Lalit,

HTTP code 403 means its "Forbidden" so please check if you have access to directory or FTP server. You can normally check the error message on the Adatper monitoring within the RWB.
