Hello Sankar.G,

Please review the SAP note ::

628131 SAP DB / MaxDB operating system parameters on Unix

& check if the operating system parameters set as recommended in the note.

Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina

Did you create an /etc/project file (according to note 724713 - parameter settings for Solaris 10)? /etc/system is no more valid on Solaris 10 to configure IPC parameters.

As this note states:

[...]

Please do not use any old /etc/system settings from SAP note 395438

with Solaris 10.

[...]

Please post the output of

cat /etc/project
cat /etc/user_attr

What you did is wrong.

A SAP system is not running under user "root" and thus your settings do not apply to the users <sid>adm, sdb and sqd<SID>.

Additionally the syntax of you project file is not correct and no users are assigned in /etc/user_attr.

Please delete in /etc/project what you have entered after the fouth colon and follow the note to create a project.
