problem in text element in sap scripts

Dear experts,

i have a problem in defining text elements in one of the windows.I have given like this:

/: IF &PAGE& = 1

P2 TO,

P2 Superitendent of Central Excise,

and if i come back and save and again if i go the same text element it is showing like this:

/: IF &PAGE& = 1parTO<(>,<)>

P2 Superitendent of Central Excise<(>,<)>

Can anyone please tell me why it is coming like this.

Try changing your editor, and create a return to a new line. If you skip down a line but the paragraph descriptor is blank, it will assume it is on the same line.
