Hi,
i want to update my kernel ( SAPEXE_114...SAR (for Basis 7.00) to the newst one (probably 136). But it is until now not copletely released. I've heard that is possibel to make your "own" kernel if you collect the each singel packages of it (e.g. dw_136-20000982.sar disp+work package etc...).
Can somebody tell me, if it's possieble. And if yes where can I find docus about it.
Thanks in advance
Muris
You can do it the following way:
- download the latest full package (SAPEXE* and SAPEXEDB*)
- download all files that have been released AFTER the full package
- un-car SAPEXE + SAPEXEDB first
- then un-car the rest of the files
This will update your kernel to the latest available patchlevel.
