Datasource activation error

Hi all,

I created one datasource and when i i click on activate..its taking time and it is displaying error message as "Time limit exceeded". so datasource is not activated.

What is the reason for this error can any one give some suggestions to rectify the error.

Babu,

Check the changeability of the source system and the RFC connections - does this happen in the source or in BW? also check for system processes at the same time.
