Want to publish a query to a portal but with using "Publish To Role"

Hi everybody,

is it possible to publish a query from the Query Designer to a role in the portal? So if I enter the portal I want to see a tab with my Query?

I built in the su01 a role for the user and created a menu for him. So "Publish To Role" is working. But backend roles are groups in the portal?

Yes it is possible to publish queries from query deigner to portal.you can attach this query to an iview and you can attach this iview to the role u created in SU01.If you are in BI7.0 version you can open ur query using BEx web and add to BEx portfolio or My Portfolio where you can place it in a KM folder.If the user is subscribed to that KM document they open the report.In Bi7.0 u have to upload ABAP roles to portal(JAVA) roles and maintained single sign on.when the user executes query in the portal it doesnt ask to login again.
