We have SAP R/3 4.6C in one of our location and at HQ we are operating Virsa 5.2 with ECC 6.0. The question is can we operate Virsa 5.2 with R/3 4.6C. If yes, what are the prerequisites. Our external consultants are not able to do this and internal expertise is not there currently. Can any one help ?

Thanks and Regards

Hello,

We are in the process of moving to ECC 6.0 with enhancements (6.2) and are currently running Virsa 5.1. How difficult was it to connect the two? As of yet we are still running into problems. Do we need to upgrade to Virsa 5.2? any feedback would be great. I ask since you mention you have Virsa 5.2 running with ECC 6.0

They only drawback with the 4.6C RTA is the use of flat-files.

I think you're mistaken here - 4.6c has a "real" RTA, while older systems have to use the flat file import mechanism.

Yes, Virsa 5.2 as a front-end system can support any SAP ERP system as a back-end system from R/3 4.6C release.

You just need to install a Real-Time Agent (Connector) on your SAP R/3 4.6C to be able to run SoD risk analysis on it.

All available RTA can be downloaded from SAP Service Marketplace.
