Error Dereferencing of the NULL reference; CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL

Hi,

I am getting an exception error while executiong a Query . the Error Message reads :

Error An exception with the type CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL occured, but was neither

Error Dereferencing of the NULL reference

Please suggest what resolution / SAP Notes i can apply ?

Hi swetha,

may be u had made some changes on web template.If you are using standard webtemplate.you have to again install from business content which overwrites the previous settings and start using again.

Hi Chandru ,

the 0adhoc and 0analyzer have been reinstalled. So am not sure if tht's still an issue. Please suggest further.

Now assign ur dataprovider to this template and execute again.have you done that?let me know if the problem still persists.did u get the error while executing these templates?or any custom web templates?

I have an error with the Query in Bex - have not gone ahead and checked the web templated yet - any suggestions for the same ? on Bex ?

Hi again

when you execute query from query designer it is executed in standard template 0Analyzer.First check your query and then try to execute.It will solve ur problem.
