Hi gurus,
We have a open bid invitation with 30 items in it.
Can our vendors enter their bids in a way that several contact persons in one company can leave one bid? Another words, 1 bid from 2 or more contact persons.
Now it seems that system creates 1bid/contact person. So in the end of bidding period we have several bids / company. That is not what we want.
Vendor have different sales persons (=contract person) for different product categories, but the we only need 1 contract/company.
We run SRM server 5.5
thanks in advance and points will be rewarded
Hello,
I think SRM 6.0 new feature will help you but you will have to wait.
Pl. read the extract from New features of 6.0.
Allow Multiple Responses per Company (New)
Use
As of SAP SRM 2007, you can set an indicator called Allow multiple responses per company
on the basic data tab of the RFx. When the indicator is set, the system behaves as in former
releases: Different contacts within one company can compete with each other editing different
RFx responses. The new functionality can be used when the indicator is not set: Contacts of
one and the same company handle one and the same RFx response then, and the intent to
bid indication is at the company level. Still, all invited contacts of a company get automatic emails.
