cycle counting

Hi All,

we want to set a cycle counting indicator in material master. what setting has tp do.

when i enter A against cc indicator it gives error msg. THE PHYSICAL INVENTORY INDICATOR (A) DOES NOT EXIST FOR PLANT.

Dear Avi,

Please check whether your settings in customizing are proper:

1. SPRO > Material Management > Inventory Management and PI > Physical Inventory > Cycle counting - set 'CC phys. inv. ind.'

2. Material master settings

3. Logistics Execution > WM > Activities > Physical Inventory > Define Types per Storage Type - set 'Cycle Counting'

(Maybe your problem can be solved by point 1)

hi all,

in our company genset is being used. and i have to use strategy for genset which may be according to hourly or monthly whichever comes first.

kindly tell the solution.

Check if u have entried in

Spro  mm  inventory mgt and phy inv  physical inventory cyclic count

Check hear u r plant entry must be there

Plant no and A B C (cc Physinv ind)

Three entries must be there

Plant no --- A

Plant no --- B

Plant No --- C

hope this will solve ur issue
