Enterprise Portal Log Off

Hi gurus,

We have EP 7.00 SPS13.

We have the following problem:

- User is logged in.

- User clicks on the "Log Off".

- User confirms the log off.

- The standard "Log Off" page is showed.

• We want the user to be redirected to another page within the same Portal.

We have changed in the Configtool the following properties of the service "com.sap.security.core.ume.service" in the tree "Global server configuration":

- ume.logoff.redirect.silent = <i>true</i> --> We have tested "<i>false</i>" also

- ume.logoff.redirect.url = <i>http://host_name:port/mypage.html</i>

But isn't running. Any idea??

Hello,

Two simple things to check:

1. All UME properties need a reboot of portal instance to come into effect.

2. Make sure that the page you are redirecting to "http://host_name:port/mypage.html" can be <b>accessed anonymously</b>. It could be that you are getting redirected correctly, but the page requires authentication, and it prompts your for a login!

We restarted the Portal with every change and the page can be accessed anonymously.
