<b>Dear All,

I am learning SRM. SRM 5.0 Ides has been installed in my system. I try to login through browser link. As per the below step I got the browser link.</b>

Go to transaction SICF

Search Service Name BBPSTART

Right click the BBPSTART and Test Service

Browser is opened and show you the logon screen.

URL looks like this.

http://[hostname.domain:port]/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart?sap-client=800

Now I am successfully got the browser link

<b>.However system not allow me to enter anything in Users & password field.</b>It give the following error.

No switch to HTTPS occured, so it is not secure to send a password SSO logon not possible: logon tickets not activated on the server. Choose logon to continue. A dialog box appears in which you can enter your user & password.

<b>Kindly help me to shorted out the above issue.

Your input will highly appreciable.

Hello Sahu,

You have to check that HTTPS is enabled on your SRM server.

SMICM --> GOTO --> Services

You should see HTTPS active.

Then you have to go in SICF on the BBPSTART service

Click on "Error Pages" then on "Logon Errors" then select "System Logon" and click on the "Configuration" button.

You get the "System Logon Configuration screen"

In the "Actions During Logon" box

Select "Logon via HTTPS" as protocol

Check "Do not Display Warnings"

In the "Logon Layout and Procedure" box

Check "User Specific" and choose class "CL_SRM_ICF_BASIC_LOGIN"

Save the service and active it.

Test and adapt these settings to your Company specific needs.
