Hi,

I installed a new server in a customer. Then i restored five databases in SQL 2005.

When i go to Sap and i try to change the company, only one company appears.

I use refresh button but only one company appears.

What could be the problem?

Regards

Augusto Silva

Dear Silva,

try to refresh more than one time. I also experienced that but I refresh the button two times. You must also check if restoring process is succeeded. From what type of database version they are origin from ? sql 2000 or sql 2005 but different edition ? Were the databases registered on user sa login or there are another login ?

Dear Jimmy,

Thank you for your reply.

I used refresh button some times but it doesn't work.

The backup is from SQL 2000 and the restore is in sql 2005. Is there any problem?

The user and password is the same.

Ok. using the SQL query analyzer, run this query select version from cinf in all the 5 databases. Let me know the result.

Also check the database tables, for example select * from oadm, select * from order etc..

just to make sure if the database restoring runs well.

hi jimmy,

in all databases the select cinf version = 680320.

The tables in all databases that i saw were good (Oinv Jdt1...)

And now after 15 hours of work in this problem (i'm with this problem since yesterday), i made a refresh and all databases appear.

i don't now why it's working. I have some user's working but i don't now if the databases are going to disappear.

???...

Thank you for your help.
