It asks for java sdk 1.4.2_08. THe installation has a link for 08, but the link goes to a download of 1.4.2_09. Is this an acceptable version ?

Hi Kathirvel:
I have a question. I installed the Dev Studio. It installed OK. I tried to create my first J2ee and Web Dynpro pages. But the New-Project option does not list j2EE or Web DynPro. It lists Java though! Do you have any suggestions? Didd I miss a step or so?
I appreciate your help.
Thanks.

Go ahead, I don't think it will cause any problem ! I have installed it on 1.5.0_03, didn't bother about JDK as long as I am above the minimum.
Cheers,
Sanjeev

Hi Hosea,
I thinks J2SE 1.4.2_09 will be compatible. In case J2SE 1.4.2_08 is what you want you can get it from here,
http://java.sun.com/products/archive/index.html
Hope this solves your problem.
Thanks,
Kathirvel
