Solutions can be;

1. Re-import SAP BASIS SWCV into Integration repository

2. Apply SAP Note 764176.

Hi,

The adapter list you can from IntegrationRepository>SAP BASIS>SAP BASIS 6.40>http://sap.com/xi/XI/System>Adapter Objects-->Adapter Metadata.

If you are not able to see it, then reimport the SAP BASIS component.

>>>my scenario is file-to-file,so is it necessary to import sap basis component?

Afcourse YES, you have to select the Sender and Receiver File adapter...and its meta data is in IR.

Thanks

Hi,

thank you very much, the question was solved.

I referred to sapnote 836200,and downloaded basis 7.0 component into import directory,it worked.

Did you just import it? I am facing same problem.

Hi,sanjiv:

Perhaps you haven't imported basis component, you can ask your basis man to import it,or you can refer to relavant sapnote I wrote above if you have access of service.sap.

If you offer me your email, also i will send the component to you !

Best regards!

Hi if you are Creating Communication Channel then you have to select the Type of Adapter also like File, RFC, Idoc, JMS, JDBC etc.

If you are not able to see the list of all these adapter in ID then import the SAP BASIS SWC in IR

Thanks
