Archive old XI Messages

Hi,

i want to archive all processed messages with porocess time lower then the first of last month. I have customized massarchiving incl. archiv interfaces and retention periods and an archiv job.

But after running this job only a few messages will be archived. Selecting messages in sxmb_moni with process time a year ago show me all messages.

What do i wrong ?

any old messages are successfull processed , but can't be archived or deleted.

I suggest you to see the following SAP Notes:

Note 824374 - XI messages are not archived or deleted

and search for other ones if needed.

Hi,

i have done all steps from guide "Archive and Delete Messages in SAP XI: A Step-by-Step Guide"

and i have selected all messages interfaces (ib and ob).

I remember you that only successfull message are archived. Messages with errors are not archived and deleted with this procedure.

Are all your message with checkered flag ?

If not you have to use a more complicated procedure to delete them.

Hi Sebastian,

can you elaborate more your steps?

May be you did a wrong selection of messages? You know, you have to schedule 2 jobs, one 4 archiving, one for deleting?

Have you selected all your MI in input e in output of the message of interface to archive?
