MRP for multiple items .

i have finished materials A, B ,C, D

with requirement qty 200, 300, 4000, 500 for thesematerial respectively for mnth of DEC 2007.

i have to carry out MRP for all these 4 items for one mnth,

what are the different way to carry out MRP for this?

HI,

You can run MRP with following ways-

1- by putting requirement for all four materials in MD61

2- by planning through regular rough cut- planning and then transfer data to demand management.

3- for above run your planning strategy will be 10 i.e. MTS

4- FOR MTO scenario you will require sales order then with ref. of that sales order you can run MRP.

Ajay,

You need to first maintain a Planning horizon of 30days(or suitable as required) in transaction "OMDX" for the MRP group which is assigned to the Materials A,B,C and D in the MRP1 view.

Now you have to run MD02 transaction for every material with Processing key as <b>NETPL</b>.

Or else,

You need to activate the user exit for MRP1 to select Materials based on a condition in your case to pick up A,B,C and D material. And run MD01 with processing key <b>NETPL</b>.

Hi,

You can use MD02 transaction to run mrp for these materials individually.

If you want to run mrp for plant use MD01 or MDBT(background run).
