PO w.r.t PR

hye,

In my PR there are 5 materials,

w.r.t PR am making a PO (entering PR no in item overview screen)

But the source of supply is a single vendor

Is it possible to make?

But the storage locations are different

If the PO is made then what about GR (migo)?

When u make a PR with 5 or 10 items/materials and make a PO w.r.t PR the items / materials ar not displayed

Though there are quantities, purchasing group, plants etc in PR the details are not found in PO.

whereas if i make for 1 maerial it is appearing but not for more than 1 material

Dear Rajesh Kulkarni

Go to material master using mm02, select MRP2 view. Here you can default storage location for external procurement. For 5 diff material codes there can be 5 diff storage locations.

Then create PR. These default storage locations will be copied automatically to this PR.

Then create PO. These defaults will again get copied.

Now try to post GR. System will automatically default these storage locations in MIGO.

Hi Raj,

you can create a PO. There is no relation between PR and sto. loc.

Storage location is assigned to plant.

there r two ways to cal PR in PO.

one you can cal through document over view,here you need not give PR item number. System copies alll information contained in PR.

second is entering the PR number in item over view,but here along with PR number you have to maintain PR item number.

Ex: PR: 10000013, item :10, system copies item 10 only even if u maintained more line items.

U can add al 5 line item of PR in PO

though storage locations are diff. u can pass GR for PO with diff. storage locations
