Hi Sri,

ALV is ABAP List viewer which can be put into use to embellish the output of a report and ALV grid is a type of ALV display for displaying the output of a report in a grid.The other types are List and Hierarchical displays.

ALV Reports are of two types.

1) ALV LIST DISPLAY.

Function Module used for List Display ALV Report is 'REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY.

This function module is used to disply the internal output table with the contents.

2) ALV GRID DISPLAY.

Function Module used for List Display ALV Report is 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.

This function module outputs an internal table with whatever structere in the form of a formatted single or multi-line list.
