Decentralized System establishment

NZDF has a well established SAP ERP system supporting it core logistics' management functions.

We are currently reviewing our next progressive steps in the continual improvement process within the logistic support framework which includes configuring a New SAP Defense Solution based on ECC 6.0 within a Proof of Concept (PoC) lab.

The supporting documentation for this SAP Solution Defense Force & Public Security (DFPS 600) is not clear with respect to the Client Copy Options used in establishing decentralized environments. Can someone please provide clarity with respect to the correct SAP Profile used to create the decentralize system.

Standard SAP client options are:

SAP_ALL - All Client - specific data w/o change docs.

SAP_APPL - Customizing and application data w/o changes

SAP_APPX - SAP_APPL w/o Authorizations profiles and roles

SAP_CUST - Customizing

SAP_CUSV - Customizing and user variants

SAP_CUSX - Customizing w/o authorization profiles and roles

Note the intention is not to result in a complete system copy but a reduced environment to support the importation of deployed force elements and sub set objects.

The SAP documentation commences once the system has been copied.

Any assitance is appreciated.
