Creation & processing of case in case management

Hi Experts,

We are trying to create Case using transaction SCASE But system is giving below error before selecting Case type:

No valid Case Typess exist

Message no. SCMG_CASE010

Diagnosis

There is no valid Case Types for this element type.

System Response

The system cancels the create process.

Procedure

Inform the system administration team.

Procedure for System Administration

Check your Customizing.

Note that Case Types that exist for the element type UDM_SPS_CASE must be valid and not obsolete.

Can anybody help out us to resolve this above error.

Hi,

Have you done the following customizations

1. IMG> Cross-Application Components> General Application Functions--> Records and Case Management

and

2. IMG>CRM> Case Management

Kindly check in these, as you are lacking in some customizations mostly in the first step

Hi Thanks for reply.

Even after all settings in Cross apllications components & CRM , system is still giving same error.

Any further settings required for the case management or any authorisation issue??

It seems that you are trying to create a dispute case under SCASE after having created your own RMS ID but the RMS ID is not assigned to any case type.

Check that you have created a dedicated Case Type

In the case type created assign the RMS ID you have created for your Dispute Case.
