Integrate XI and BI in SAP Netweaver 2004

Hello people,

I want to integrate XI and BI using the document: How to Integrate XI and BI in SAP NetWeaver 2004s.

We are using XI 3.0, SP 20 (Netweaver 2004) and not NetWeaver 2004<b>s</b>.

My question would be than: Can we use this document? and what would be the consequences if we use XI 3.0 with BI in SAP Netweaver 2004?
