Number Range Issue-Reg

Dear PM Guys,

One issue is for me.

When I try to create Number range in testing client(AFTER TRANSPORTING REQUESTS FROM DEV CLIENT to TESTING client) for Notification type and Maintenance plan category,Iam finding it was already assigned with GROUP WITHOUT TEXT.I have just assigned the number range and text.But for Maintenence Order it is not so and found in Not assigned area and when I try to make new group it is not getting saved.People are saying that in SCC4 it has to be authorized for making changes.

Is it true or any thing wrong.

For most cases number ranges cannot be transported.. They have to be individually maintained in each of the boxes/clients. Why SAP has not given this provision.. We dont know.
