SAPKB70012 support package application

Hi,

i have applied SAPKB70012 and SAPKB70013 support packages on ECC 6.0 system. while applying them i found SLOG file containing following text:

It is giving dumps while executing any txns and so i restarted the system at OS level but now its not getting UP.

Please help.

Hiral,

1. Please check if enough BGD WPs are available.

2. Schedule RDDIMPDP by running the Report RDDNEWPP in Client 000 and your business client.

If still the error persists.

Follow the following steps,

1. STMS -> Import Overview -> SID -> Menu Goto-> Import Monitor ->

Delete the entries related to those old transport request that are not

currently running. You can see the requests are in running status. To

delete right click and delete.

2. OS level using command "ps -ef | grep tp"

Kill these processes if any using the below command:

"kill -9 <pid>" In case of windows delete from Task Manager at OS Level

3. Check the contents of transport tables TRBAT & TRJOB via SE16.

Before starting a transport, these tables must be empty.Delete the entry using SM30/SM31.

Hi,

For successful request orders or support packages imports in an abap stack system, the system job RDDIMPDP has to be scheduled in client 000 and in each clients where you will import request orders.

This job is event periodic triggered by the event SAP_TRIGGER_RDDIMPDP

There is only one step which runs abap program RDDIMPDP with user DDIC.

The problem is solved. Infact the Basis patch 12 can take 1 to 2 days to get applied.

We having the same error when Apply SAP BASIS Support Package 12.

Please , what is your recommendation for resolve these issue?

Hi Roberto,

Its usual that Basis support package 12 takes 1 or 2 days time. So don't stop it while its running because after stopping it i had to restore the system. So keep patience and it will be done.
