Hi Guys,

While creating a customer in XD01 with internal numbering, wher do you define the partner details. Iam not able to see the partner tab. When I go to extras-partner functions, Iam getting information message "Customer INTERNAL is not assigned to a part function".

Dear Srikkanth

Check in IMG, whether you have assigned the respective partner function in "Partner Determination Procedure".

Path for this is SD --> Master Data --> Business Partners --> Customers --> Customer Hierarchy --> Setup Partner Determination for Hierarchy Categories.

have u did the partnership determination procedure

u have to do the partner functions assigned to a partnership determination procedure and this procedure should be assigned to u r account groups

Hi,

In standard SAP once u create a CMR by tcode XD01 system will automatically defines the partner functions of mandatory i.e 1.sold to party2.ship to party3.bill to party and 4.payer.

you can find this details by going to sales area data partners.

check u might have used account group of ship to party.

there seems to be a problem in the partner determination procedure. Also check out the assignments of account group and the partner determination procedure.

Hi,

can you check account group setting in Financial accountin>AR/AP->Customer accounts>Master data>Preparation for creating custoemr master data-->Define screen layout for customers.

Check all the views and in the sales area data.

which account group u r using to create the customer..

if new one, u need to assign the partner function in VOPA
