What is GL Mapping ???

Hi,

we enter tax code at the posting, the system calcuate the tax amount and post automatically. For automatic posting we need assign the G/L accounts for tax transaction keys, based on assignment only the gl account balances are updated.

In OB40 we can assign gl accounts on transaction typewise or in FTXP itself we can assign gl accounts on tax code wise also.

This as you wrote can mean a lots of things... For me sounds like assignment of GL accounts to tax codes. Transaction FTXP -> Tax code -> Tax accounts.

Hi,

You assign all GL accouonts in T-code: OB40 for automatic posting.
