Extracting Forecast from SPP

We are trying to extract the output of the forecast from the forecasting planning book in SPP for a large number of parts. Does anybody know of a way to extract the same to an excel file from SPP?

The DRP Matrix extractor is the only one which is delivered for SPP. If you need to extract data from Forecasting you have to develop your own extractor (forecasts are stored TSDM).

Hi Mukundan,

What SCM version are you in? For a large data set, extracting data directly to Excel Format might not be feasible. You might need to extract to a CSV file first and then import that to excel. Assuming you are in SCM 5.0, you can extract data from the Planning Area using an export datasource, and then use an Open Hub Destination to create the CSV file. Please post again if you need the details.

Although I have not worked on SPP side, I can probably try to answer this based on general DP experience in APO.

In interactive DP, you should have the icon at top of the datqview to extract data in excel sheet from the dataview. If this is not what you are looking for, you should be able to extract the data to the Infocube. You can use BW reporting tools to query these infocubes.
