Plan Data in Queries

Hi,

I am using 0FIGL_C01 infoCube for all FI related actual data. But on the same cube i am unable to generate reports for Budgeted Data / Plan Data.

I have set Version 0 and Value type 20 -

for Plan Data

and Version 0 and Value type 10 -

---

actual Data..

Though i am not getting Plan Data...

How to get the Plan Data in the Queries

Help me to resolve this problem..

It is very urgent....

Help will be greatly appreciated....

Can you check RSA3 - if it is showing any plan data with Version 0 & Vtype 20 ?

Also make sure you have to report on plan coming from ECC and not from IP.

Hello Venkat,

If you are not getting any data with value type = 20 in RSA3, it is probably because plan data is not maintained in the R/3 system. Ask your R/3 FI consultant how plan data is managed in R/3. If they have planned based on standard R/3 functionality then it should be available as value type 20. If not then you may need to look at another way load the plan in BI. Hope this helps.

Did you check for all records in RSA3 - Maximize the Datarecords/Calls before you run RSA3.

If still no plan data found you have to find out with the functional folks.

Yes, Ihave checked everything, But could not find Value type 20...

all records having Version 1 and Value type 10 only...

No records contain Value type 20..

My doubt is how to get Value type 20...in R/3 (RSA3) ..

What to do? for Value type 20 to be displayed in RSA3 for 0FI_GL_1 (or) 0FI_GL_6 DataSources...

Please help me out to resolve this...

Hello Venkat,

I don't think there's any additional setting which needs to be done to get data with value type 20 for these datasources. Just make sure first that the plan data is available in R/3.

There are no settings as such , just find out with finance GL folks if they are posting/entering any plan amounts for GL.

They are able to view Plan /Budget Data...

But we (BW) are unable to view Plan /Budget Data...

Hi,

DataSources mean when i go to T-Code RSA3 --- Entering DataSource name ...

Then extraction -

---

then Display List --- DataPacket --- View the Version and Value type....

I mean to say from my these DataSources unable to find Value type 20....where as for CO (Controlling) DataSources, Value type 20 is available...

There's no need to use 0FI_GL_1. It's obsolute. Use 0FI_GL_6 which is the replacement for 0FI_GL_1. It's mentioned <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/0a/558cabb2e19a4db3097b81bba4fd0e/frameset.htm">here</a>. If GL account planning is done in R/3 then I think this datasource will bring the plan data.

Can you please check for plan data in Table GLT0 in R/3.

Also do check this OSS <b>942218</b> No Plan Data during extraction of transaction figures - This applies to 0FI_GL_1, 0FI_GL_6 and some others.
