Attach external transport to Charm change request

Hi:

I have an "Urgent Request" in our Charm system, but rather than developing code in our dev system I need to attach a transport from another system and move it through.

How do I do this. It seemed easy until I tried to work out how to attach the transport

Any Ideas?

Hi Warrick

It late response, but this is the way we do it.

We put the 'foreign' transport on the queue of the Dev-system (stms - Add To Queue)

We import it into Dev.

In SE09 we copy the objects from the original transport to the Urgent-transport.

- select your urgent transport

- Choose IncludeObjects (Ctrl-F11) and choose your original transport

Hi Warrick,

imho a requirement for this is to change the project status switch "Requests cannot be created" to "Requests can be created":

TA SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN -> double-click on respective Maintenance Project -> Tab "System Landscape -> Tab "Change Requests" -> click on button "Show Project Status Switches"
