the alternative unit of measure is same as base unit of Measure

Hi gurus,

I am loading Material master data using DI method in LSMW It is almost over , at the last it is showing MSg as """ <b>the alternative unit of measure is same as base unit of Measure</b> """ I am not getting how to correct it plz can any one help me

If your both UOM are same then remove that from the file and try to upload again.

This will prevent the LSMW from being uploading the same UOM for the Base and the alternative.

Ideally, if you have a different UOM other than base UOM than you have to put it in the alternative UOM otherwise no need to create a conversion.

Hi ,Here I exporting BSTME( base unit of measure) = M and AUSME ( alter unit of measure) = MI but is giving problem

Check in the step "Reading data display" and "display conversion data" that your AUSME ( alter unit of measure) contains <b>MI</b> or <b>M</b>
