couldn't import software component versions

Hello:

In ID tool,i couldn't import software component versions,also i couldn't see the default component versions 'sap basis'.when i runned tcode SLDCHECK,the result looked like no error? Could you tell me why?

........couldn't import software component versions?

how would u import it in ID wereas ID IS USED TO CONFIGURATION and IR is the one were we design the interface for which we have to import the SWCV from SLD .........always import in IR .......hope u had already got the answer.

Hi Xin,

SLDCHECK checks if the connection to SLD works or not.

It does not check if Software Comp has been imported or not.

If you meant IR then the default ones have to be imported by your basis team.

If you dont see there, ask your basis team to import the same.

u r trying to import SWCV in ID???????????????????

u have to Do it in IR

i guess u wrote it mistakenly.......

if u r not able to import SWCV ...u can check these threads for more details....
