Multiple Live Cache instances on the same server

Can you install multiple MaxDB and LiveCache instances on the same server? So that you could say have your Dev & Q/A instance on the same server?

Hi,

yes, you can have several MaxDB and liveCache instances on a single server. There are however positive and negative things to say for this configuration. On the positive side there's ofcourse the cost of a single machine, on the negative side, should a hardware error occur, it could damage and bring down both your Dev & QA system.

There are more points to say for both sides, but the simple answer to your question would be: YES.

Question however remains, is it suitable for what you need?
