Cannot login to 'Alert Configuration' in RWB

Hi,

I cannot login to Alert Configuration tab in the runtime workbench.

I have done everything mentioned in the notes 750287 and 768456 and also in a couple of SDN posts. I have defined the roles for the user, activated the appropriate ICF services, started the background job to run every 5 minutes and updated the exchange profile attributes.

However, when I click on 'Alert Configuration' tab, I am asked to click the login button. Upon clicking the login button, I get a popup where I could enter the username and password. When I enter the username and password, I get the following:

500 Connection timed out

Connection timed out (-5)

-


Error: -5

Version: 6040

Component: ICM

Date/Time: Thu Sep 8 13:59:50 2005

Module: icxxthr_mt.c

Line: 2563

Detail: Connection to partner timed out

I would appreciate any insights.

Did you implement note 840849. Your problem should be solved.

Remember that this is a temporary solutin. You should configure your system for SSO.

One other thing is did you setup the rules ?

If not follow Michal's blog.

One other thing is in End-To-End monitoring -> Further Settings -> alert frequency should be setup too.
