Installation of SAP Solution Manager as a second system vs. extra server

Hello!

I am about to install SAP Solution Manager 4.0 which Oracle 10 on Windows 2003 and have the following question regarding tihs issue:

- Does SAP Solution Manager require an extra Windows Server or can I also install them as a sesond system?

- If I have enough free space on my machine wih first SAP system wich disadvantages do I have compared with the installation on the extra Server?

Hi,

If you have enough hardware to support two instances you can go for it to avoid performance bottle necks i suggest you to go for seperate hardware.
