hI,
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF END TO END MONITORING?
regards,
somenath
Hi
End to End Monitoring
We use end-to-end monitoring in the following cases:
-If you want to monitor message processing steps in a number of SAP components (to be configured).
-If you want to monitor the path of individual messages through these SAP components, from start to end.
In end to end monitoring we can go for two overviews :
Process overview
Instance overview
Thanks

Hi
Process Overview provides:
Status of all processed massages
Components with erroneous massages
Graphical representation of all the components
Instance Overview provides:
Path of the specific massage through the all component.
Graphical representation of whole massage flow ,together with data for the individual process steps .
You use end-to-end monitoring in the following cases:
a) If you want to monitor message processing steps in a number of SAP components (to be configured).
b) If you want to monitor the path of individual messages through these SAP components, from start to end.
The central tool for end-to-end monitoring is the Runtime Workbench, which you call from the SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI) start page.
The Runtime Workbench receives the data for end-to-end monitoring from the Process Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI), which is an SAP monitoring tool for monitoring end-to-end technical processes involving multiple SAP components.
